Provider of on-demand IT infrastructure, Layered Technologies, Inc. has been named to the Gartner “Magic Quadrant for Web Hosting and Hosted Cloud System Infrastructure Services (On Demand)” published in July, 2009.
Written by Gartner analysts Lydia Leong and Ted Chamberlin, according to the Gartner report which evaluated 16 companies overall, “The Web hosting market is evolving rapidly and converging with cloud system infrastructure services, creating new opportunities for cost savings and business agility.”
Gartner based its 2009 evaluation on five use cases for hosting: self-managed hosting, mainstream-managed hosting, highly complex managed hosting, global solutions portfolio, and enterprise applications hosting.
